Steel Plate Refurbishment

As the end of 2013, the major plate manufactures discontinue making the steel filter plate. This major event creates major headache for existing steel filter plate user. Our company provides the following 3 alternatives to the customers.

Steel plate repair

We use a pre-defined process to repair the plate with the special rubber chemical. The replaced rubber can perform the following:

Tear Resistance = 340 PII

Tensile Strength = 2,050 psi

The repaired plates have been used in multiple Sewage Treatment Work and Water Treatment Work. In addition, we have access to the membrane skin suppliers. We are able to provide a stop shop for your plate repair.

Steel plate to Polypropylene plate conversion

We partner with an Engineering company in UK to convert the existing steel plate system into Polypropylene plate system.

Our engineer does the following:

· Study the existing system and provide a feasible plate design: Plate thickness and Cake Thickness.

If necessary, an adaptor plate is added to the head plate to redirect the filtrate and filtrated holes.

· Changing the inflow membrane air bowering mechanism to use the external side airport. The external side airport is commonly used in the Polypropylene plate for dryness efficiency.

· Re-configure the RAM pump, membrane air pressure and dosing system such that the converted system can achieve certain level of dryness requirement.

This work has been successfully done in many treatment works around UK.

New filter system

We work with a European exchange-listed water treatment company to find the new dewatering system that fit the current situation.

In order to satisfying the customer requirement, we recommend that customer first sends the sludge sample to the company’s lab. According to the lab result, we will provide the list of equipment that has to be replaced in order to achieve the new EPD requirement.
